Hello again. I know I say this a lot, but I am so tired. I got up this morning at the ass crack of dawn to take my grandmother to the beauty shop. Oy. This is the type of beauty shop where four old women go at a time, and one person works on all of their hair, and all of the women sit and gossip. Well, apparently it was my grandmothers turn to take donuts, so after I dropped her off, I went to Albertsons and picked up a dozen donuts. Then I went to Starbucks.. What would I do without it. Really? I wouldn't have been able to function.
Anyhoo, after getting some Chai Tea, I went to Taco Dons to pick up a breakfast burrito for the hair stylist. I wasn't looking forward to it because I wasn't even sure that it was open. But it was! And right when I walked in, this man greeted me, and proceeded to take my order. He was very nice. He asked me if I was in school, and if I had a job. (I thought he was gonna offer me a job, then and there) We talked for a few minutes, and he introduced me to one of the girls that was working there, Megan. She was really pretty and nice! Both of them noticed that I was wearing a cross, and I told them what it meant to me, and they talked to me about my faith a little bit. Long story short, I needed that. I needed some people that I didn't know, pick me up a little. I don't think that people realize what a difference that they can make in a persons' day or life, by just being nice. It made my day.
& now I have 45 minutes before I have to be back at my grandmothers, lunch in hand. So I better go now. Anyways, I guess the point of this blog is to just be kind to people. You really can make a difference. : )
Heres the daily dox. You're welcome.
This is how Bug sits! Isn't it the cutest thing?!
xoxo,
amoe
